Digital Version of Learning Plans

Hi. Here is a clickable version of the learning plans for the next two weeks:
Families:
Well here we are again. Here are some plans to help you with your students' school work. I realize that homeschooling chose you and you did not choose to homeschool. I am thankful for all that you are doing to help keep your child keep learning. Please do what you can do. At a minimum, if you help your students with the  Language Arts and Math lessons that would be amazing. I will be posting a video everyday of the lesson for Language Arts at https://mrsbartonsfabulousfirstgrade.blogspot.com/
I will also post stories that I will read aloud and record. You may want just your student to watch this as I tend to get silly. I miss them!  No school work will be assigned from April 13th-April 17th

Pronoun review…
My Book of Pronouns.  Write a sentence using the pronoun and illustrate a picture.
Pronoun/Noun sort.
Cut out and sort the words that are nouns under the noun side. Sort the words that are pronouns under the pronoun side.

Remember to double the consonant if there are not two or more consonants between the nouns.  If there are already two consonants between the nouns then just add the suffix.

23.1 reading, matching the word with the picture, writing the word. (Both sides)
23.2 Read the word, circle the sounds in the word, not individual letters.
Ex. knob...the kn would be circled because it makes one sound (silent k) circle the o and circle the b. 3 sounds circled, write 3 in the box, write the word on the line with letters in the guidelines.

 Tell students to turn to Worksheets 25.1 and 25.2. • Tell students that you would like them to read the story (“The Prince Gets a Pet”) on Worksheet 25.1 and then answer the questions on Worksheet 25.2. • Have students use the story to answer the questions. Both worksheets are double-sided.
Additional:  Read “The Harvest Marvel” independently and complete Worksheet 25.3.

Language Arts CKLA  Lesson 1
Today we will be learning about different spellings for long A-(as in the a in make). 
Please do worksheet 1.2 Read the words and fill in the blanks for the sentences.
There is no reading today, but you can read a story that we did not get to read in our previous reader.
Cut out leaves for the spelling tree and read each leaf.  Save the leaves for tomorrow’s lesson.
