6.1 Spelling words can be read as examples of long a words. (they are not the words used for the spelling test)
Review noun-verb agreement. When they read today’s story pay particular attention to nouns and verbs and how they work together.

Contraction review:
Cut out contractions flashcards. Match the contractions with the two words that make up the contraction. Turn cards over and play the memory game matching the contraction with the two words that make the contraction.
